TASTING NOTES
It's flavour notes of raspberry and passion fruit sing a song of tangy and tropical delight. While we let the smooth caramel finish work its way and wrap around our taste buds like a warm embrace from a long-lost friend.
Las Casitas is like a coffee that will talk you up to old friends and receive admiration from new ones, just like a good coffee should, perfect for when you want to make an impression without upstaging the show.
BEHIND THE CUP
Some coffees are shared for formal affairs, some for picnics and pastries, but this coffee is like a sensory siren call to adventure.
Las Casitas, is a delightful 1-hectare farm, lovingly nestled in the lush Agua Caliente area of Corquin, Honduras.
Home to Maria Melva Rodriguez, a dedicated coffee cultivator who produces the finest coffee beans with passion and expertise.
Maria ensures her coffee beans are a tribute to traditional coffee-making, steeped in Central America's rich heritage. Starting with hand-picking and washing the cherries to 90 hours of maceration in monitored barrels. The cherries are then dried on elevated beds, turning every hour to ensure an even result, and finally, processed at the prestigious Aruco mill at 1200 masl.
This micro-lot is not just a coffee but a sensory journey, a celebration of the finer coffees in life. The nature of this organically farmed coffee only adds to its prestige, a testament to Maria's dedication and care. With 70% of the FOB price going directly to her, every cup is a tangible expression of our commitment at GOOD LIFE to support coffee producers.
